Language Cafe does not take a fee for finding accommodation for its students, unlike other schools. However, we do not take full responsibility for your accommodation but may simply provide you with the links and help you where we can to book a place for the duration of your stay. As Manchester and Salford are university towns, there is never really much of a problem in finding a place and there are often many options available, so do not worry.

£80-£100 per week without food
Most students really love the idea of living with a British family and getting an insight into life here. However, although homestay can be very rewarding at times, it may also not always be the idealistic experience people imagine it to be. You should note that 'a homestay family' might sometimes consist of just one person, the house may be situated outside the city and they may ask you to abide by strict house rules.
LC can provide you with contacts for homestay but the spaces are limited and may not always be available. Please also see the link here.

We are lucky enough to be situated in close proximity to both the University of Salford and the University of Manchester. For that reason, there are a lot of student halls at a range of prices. There may be limited availability during term times but full availability during the holiday periods.
